We offer a wide selection of artist and commercially-made teddy bears for every taste and occasion! Whether you are an avid collector or just need a gift – you are sure to find the perfect teddy on our site.
Enjoy browing and visiting our featured Artists’ pages. We are the exclusive North American Dealer for Forget Me Not Bears, Canadian Exclusive Dealer for Ingrid Schmid & Gillian Mitchell. We also offer Steiff, from Germany, Merrythought, from England, and R. John Wright, from the United States, as well as, Gund, Ganz, Boyds, Russ and Bearington Collection. We can order teddies from the companies we carry.
Our stocks of teddies continually changes as they each go out for adoption. We specialize in Artist Bears and they are often one of a kind. Check our page frequently for new additions.

Denise Hayhoe (Owner/Operator) has been collecting teddy bears for over 30 years now. Paula Romanin (Manager) has been store manager for 9 years, and has enjoyed her time learning about teddy bears!
The Shop:
Membership
Shop memberships are $30.00/year and entitle you to receive 15% off in-shop items. Excluded are:
- FORGET ME NOT BEARS, INGRID SCHMID, STEIFF, R. JOHN WRIGHT.
- New arrival teddies are excluded for a period of two weeks before becoming eligible for the discount.

Layaway
The Olde Teddy Bear Shoppe offers an interest-free layaway plan for that coveted teddy!
Typically, the plan runs over a period of two months. We require three equal payments – deposit, plus, two payments due each month. We prefer one layaway at a time.
Shipping
We ship world-wide by Canada Post. This method enables you to track your parcel. It is the most economical means we have found so far. Your bear is insured fully! We have never lost a teddy!

SUGAR BEAR by Ganz!
With a minimum purchase of $50.00 before taxes, you are eligible to win our spring draw of Sugar Bear by Ganz. Sugar is 12" and is a very soft, silky plush. She is very cuddly. Her colouring is a medium brown and cream with a ribbon around her neck! She retails for $13.00 CAD.
